2. What data do we process?
Name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, order details, the content of our communication, and technical data from your use of the webshop (IP address, browser, device, cookies). We do not handle card details: payments are processed by the payment provider.
3. Why, and on what legal basis?
Fulfilling your order, shipping, invoicing and customer service (performance of a contract, UK GDPR / GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)); fraud prevention and webshop security (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)); newsletter and personalised advertising (consent, Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who do we share data with?
The webshop is run on Shopify. Data may be received by payment providers, shipping and parcel tracking partners (e.g. Parcel Panel), our supplier in order to fulfil your order, email and marketing service providers, and our accountants. Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; in such cases we apply appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
5. How long do we keep it?
Order and accounting data are kept for the statutory retention period (generally 8 years), consent-based data until you withdraw consent, and customer service correspondence for up to 3 years.
6. Cookies
We use cookies necessary for the webshop to work and – with your consent – analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your settings in the cookie banner.
7. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to info@annakata.com.
8. Complaints
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, ico.org.uk) or to the Hungarian supervisory authority (NAIH, www.naih.hu), or go to court.
